vROPs 8.4 integration with vRA and vRLI via load balancer

Hi All

I have vROPs 8.4 and would like to integrate it with vRA 8.4 (3 node cluster) and vRLI 8.4 (two 3 node cluster in two separated data centers).

I notice that I can only and one server (administration>managment>integration>vRA or vRLI) so as  I use load balancer for both vRA and vRLI I integrated it via load balancer FQDN.

Now when I check vRA 8.x Health object or vRLI Health object I can see load balancer but not nodes behind it

How should I integrate it so I can monitor all nodes that are part of vRA and vRLI cluster, 2 separated cluster for vRLI like for example vIDM management pack that after registration via load balancer can see all the nodes behind.

Thanks

AFAIK you can only configure 1 each.

Your vRA should be fine because its 1 vRA cluster. But for vRLI you should have 1 cluster as well.

Per a previous SR - To see the vRA cluster nodes, the health monitor on the LB needs to be changed from port 443 to 8008.  vRLI does not show the cluster nodes in the latest SDDC mgmt pack.

@KabirAli82 @FredGSanford

Thanks for your help. Will open case with VMware to check when they are planning to make this working. Will check as well if changing from port 443 to 8008 the health monitor on the LB will help 🙂
