vCops 5.6 trial then Foundation?

If I install vCops 5.6 trial, will it automatically change over to Foundation or would I need to uninstall the trial and install vCops Foundation?

It will flip to Foundation - you may need to remove the trial key when it expires.

Hi

we installed vCops 5.6 trial as a vapp. Trial expried today.

I removed the trial key from vCenter, rebooted the appliance, restarted services and also run "vcops-admin license update".

Unfortunately, it still shows as "License mode: advanced" and "License expired" in the Admin UI.

How can I "downgrade" to Foundation only? Do we really have to reinstall the whole appliance?

Did you unassign the key before you removed it?

Usually a reboot should identify the unassigned key, it might not work with removal...
