vCenter metrics not available after installing view adapter

we are running 5.7.1 of the vApp and everything was working fine with vCenter, I added the view adapter (which we are licensed for) to the vApp and since then I can't select any metrics that have to do with the original adapter.  I have both vcenters added but I can't add any metrics to any custom dashboards..

The screenshot below gives an example of what I am seeing when I try to configure a custom dashboard.

Any help is much appreciated.

Odd, perhaps it's a browser issue - did you try an other one or can you try clearing out the cache?

really odd, tried to connect from a different machine entirely (linked clone vm) and everything is back.. guess it was/is an odd browser cache issue.  Thanks for the suggestion.
