vCenter Operations for View - Event Database

I'm having issues configuring the vCOPS for View adapter. When I want to configure the event database, I get the error:

Connecting to the View event database...FAILED (View event database is not configured)
Failed to connect to the View event database.
I'm using VMware View 5.1 and a SQL database for event logging. Is VMware View 5.1 supported?

Yes, the user is domain admin, domain admin group is member of local administrators group, local administrators group is administrator in View.

There are 2 separate issues.

1. No View PowerCLI cmdlets work when called remotely from the View Adapter.  This should be fixed by ensuring that the View credentials configured for the adapter have the "Administrators" or "Administrators (Read only)" role assigned in View Admin Console.

2. The get-Monitor View PowerCLI cmdlet fails and prevents the View Adapter from accessing the View Events DB.  This should be fixed in the next View maintenance release (build 758808 or beyond).
