vCOPS Server missing from the Assets View

There has been some change in the environment and i see that the vCOPS Asset is missing from the licensing node in the inventory.

Since then i cannot access any of the vCOPS UI's. The attached snapshot shows the message that is displayed when trying to access vsphere ui.

Kindly assist.

Seems like the tomcat server is down. Not sure how this can be related with the missing asset in the Licensing view.

Can you access the VCOps Admin UI - https://10.5.63.20/admin ?

If this is available you can either:

1) Try registering again VCOps to VC server

2) Download diagnostic bundle to see in the logs what is going wrong.

Hope this helps,

Alex D.

The admin page does come up but does not allow to login. When i provide credentials, it comes back to the login screen.

Does it display some error message (wrong credentials, or something?) ?

It could be caused by admin account being locked: check this out -

Another option is if the disk is full: http://ict-freak.nl/2012/04/05/vcops-5-http-status-404/
