vCOPS 5.7 change label of vCenter

Hi all,

is there a way to rename the label of the vCenter added through the Admin interface? Or you're forced to unregister and re-record it? I have 5.7.1 version.

Thank you very much.

Hi Matrix,

You can do that from Custom UI (https:://<ip>/vcops-custom). Then go to Environment Overview, select the adapter instance and click Edit icon. There you can change the Resource name which effictive does what you want.

If needed I can provide you screenshots.

Thanks,

Alex D.

Currently (to my knowledge) there is no way to change the label. Un-register and re-register again seems to be the only way to change the label. Most likely you will loose all gathered information and data.

Oh no, another Virtualisation signature...
