As local admin user I have unshared all the dashboards (I'm using vsphere license so can't edit them) and I am trying to just share the ones I want users to be able to see. Unforunately the "vRealize Operations" dashboard category with 8 dashboards in it (mostly the "Self.." dashboards) are always visible. They are unshared, yet there they are.
Any ideas? Seems like a bug.
edit:
Version 6.7.0.8183617
Build 8183617
These are self health dashboards, which are generated for each user at their sign in to the system and they are not shared ones.
Have a look here:
vRealize Operation Manager remove default dashboards for the customers.

Thanks that did it.
The question arises though -- if these are conceptually different to the shared (or not shared, as the case may be) dashboards, why give them the exact same names, and make them visible under the exact same menu?
I'm trying not to be overly critical here, but needlessly confusing concepts in this way is really confusing to a newcomer and is definitely not warming me to the product.
Sure.. Understand. With vRealize Operations 7.0, we have fixed this behavior. The self health dashboards will be treated just like other out of box dashboards and they will not be generated for every user out of the box in new deployments or updated deployments..
I will have the KB article updated as well. Thanks for your feedback.
