Wrong network capacity reported

VCOps report a wrong capacity for the network in the cluster.

All hosts and therefore the cluster is also listed as having a 0 KBps raw capacity (in Received and Transmitted rates)

Due to this, the risk of my cluster is shown as being elevated, and the network capacity as being over used.

For what I can tell this information is wrong. Is there any way to get VCOps to read/retrieve the correct information?

The hosts are running ESXi 5.0.0 623860, the VCOps is 5.0.2 770497

Hi,

Assuming you are using the vSphere UI :

1. Try to set the Capacity and Time Remaining setting to Physical/Configured Capacity

2. If you are using Usable Capacity...make sure there is not a buffer set like 100%

Hello HStrydom
Thank you for your answer, this were already the settings in my installation.

But I also changed the « Usable Capacity calculation rules » from « Use last known capacity » to « Use actual capacity » and now the network reading is at least not 0.
