In one of my clusters I noticed that CPU usage goes up to 100% each Monday for 3 hours time then the cpu usage return to 50 % . Should I add one more host to that Cluster, Will it be CPU waste in 6 Day ?

I dont know your environment or policies but can you stagger your backups so they dont all happen at the same time or on the same day

Do you know what is causing the spike?
Fixing that could save you money.
I would check the two main programs that would cause this first AV and backup (External backup and in guest backup like SQL)

Yes it is a SQL backup. How can I get arounnd this issue ? Dived the backup between more than one group ?
