VROPS - filtering for alerts/notifications

Hi All,

I am trying to configure alerts for a subset of ESXI hosts that belongs to special application and spanned withng different VCenter and different clusters.

I have created a customer datacenter including all the Clusters\ESXi host having that subset of ESXI's.

But I am not able to send the alerts/notifications. here is my configuration done on notifications scope settings.   But it is not forwarding any notification. Alert is for host disconnect from VCenter.

Hi,

I don't think you can use a custom datacenter for that. Try creating a custom group instead. Group all those special ESX hosts into a custom group which you will select when setting up an alert.
