VPX_HIST_STAT1, can I remove all but a years worth of data?

Good Morning,

My VPX_HIST_STAT1 table in my VCDB is currently 10 times larger than every other table in the database so I need to clear some items from it.

In the documentation it says to jsut truncate the table but I'm not a fan of just removing all the data from the table.  Ideally I'd like to keep a years worth of data and clear the rest if possible but from the contents I can't see how I would do this and there are no relationships with other tables to make the data more readable.  If anyone know if it's possible to remove all but a years worth of data it would be very helpful.

I'd also be interested in knowing how much of a performance increase/impact setting the fill factor on the index to 70% as recommended in the documentation offers because I may perform it while the other work is getting done.

Thanks for everyone help.
