VM not appearing in vcops 5.6 reports

I have a VM that refuses to appear in vcops 5.6 reports.  The VM appears in my inventory tree in vcops, but when a report is run (Capacity Inventory and Optimization Report, for example), the VM does not appear in the report.  Has anybody seen something like this before?  All other VMs are fine.  Thanks.

Please check machines are may be in invalid or orphaned group.

Not sure if it was orphaned or not, here's what I did though.  I vmotioned the server to a differenet esxi host, then the VM in question appeared in my vcops reports.  All good...
