VM disk usage

I would like to see a dashboard with the list of VMs that are running low om disk space. Can someone help me to configure that. I hope I don't need any agents on the VM for this.

galibai,

I'm guessing you are referring to the inside VM disk space, from the Guest OS Perspective.

http://communities.vmware.com/docs/DOC-9420

you can run the required Script or command as requried

Datacenter based ,Cluster Based, or ESX based

Take putty of you esx server and run this command you will get an html file to your mail ID, in this report you will get compleate information of your VM's and other things

or you can use RV tools for compleate information of your data store its a free software install in your local system which has the same network as ESX server

"'Virtual Machine List Report" is what you want.  you highlight the object on the vSphere UI heirarchy, go to the reports tab, and generate this report.

it will report on every object underneath it in the hierarchy on the left.
