Use wildcards in Dynamic Groups?

I want to create a vCops 5.6 dynamic group that will use a wildcard like SRVEXC*-Prod to pull in all servers named SRVEXC01-Prod.

Is this possible?  I tried using the * in "contains" criteria and it results in no items found.

Thanks,

Matt, try % (percent sign) as your wildcard

Hi

Welcome to the communities.

you may check with different criteria like * SRVEX or serv* or *serv*

"concentrate the mind on the  present moment.".

% sign + contains condition work for Name rules.

I cannot get + to work, however _ does work to limit the wildcard to a single character.  Seems to be the SQL LIKE operation rules, but a charlist doesn't work.  For example '%[abc]'
