Uptime Dashboard VROPS

Hello Guys

Any question, is possible create a Dashboard with uptime of the VM´s. My version of VROPS is 6.6

Hi Sebastian

You could probably use the "Powered Off Time Percent (%)" Metric of a VM to determine "off time" - I am not aware of an up time metric for a VM object.

You might be able to build a super metric to take (100 - powered off time) to get you "Up time"

From there you can drop that data into a view and create a dashboard widget from that view.

Use the VM | System | OS Uptime (seconds) metric to populate a heatmap.  Keep in mind that this metric is calculated in seconds, so you'll want to a reasonable coloring scale, here I've chosen a 0 - 604800 seconds (1 week) scale.  Check out VMware Code for more vROps dashboards - vRealize Ops Dashboard Samples - Samples - VMware {code}
