Tryiing to insert supermetics that used to work in 5.8 (Total Disk Capacity)

In our old vcops 5.8 we have some environment custom groups on which we can select the Datastore -> “total available space” and “total capacity” metrics

On the new vrealize operations 6 appliances we created those same groups, but these kind of metric are missing.

The question is, are we doing something wrong, or was this taken out ?

Because as you can see on the screenshot be use them in the super metrics to calculate the free space % of a certain storage pool.

Rebuild the SM using object types and attributes. Do not use objects and metrics. SMs will be disabled by default if you migrated the data from v5.8 to v6 - they need to be turned back on (enabled) in the policy for that object type. CG had some metrics/attributes trimmed since now CGs can contain non-vSphere objects and that old 'vSphere-only' mindset of attribute on containers just doesn't fly anymore. However, CGs still have "datastore|capacity|xxxx" metrics present and enabled by default for Datastore objects. If that doesn't meet your needs, you'd now need to leverage a SM to track different attributes/metrics on the CGs.

From my customer

So.... this we already know.

Custom Groups still have "datastore|capacity|xxxx" metrics present and enabled by default for Datastore objects --> then why can't we see them ?

We can't even select these outside of the super metrics...

The metrics are there for every datastore, but not when you select a group...

So something must be broken,stuck,...
