SDDC Management Pack 8.4 unable to discover vCenter 7.0 Services

Hello All,

We are using vROPs 8.4 and have installed the latest SDDC Management Pack 8.4 on it. We are unable to get vCenter 7.0 Services even when the user used in the integration is part of SystemConfiguration.Administrator group. So far only applmgmt service object and vCenter Licensing Group objects have been discovered while other vCenter Services are still not discoverable.

Hi,

Could you try uninstalling SDDC Management Pack (use the remove related items checkbox) and reinstalling it.

Was I helpful? Give a kudo for appreciation!

The working of Management Pack has changed. Earlier SDDC Management required seperate vCenter Credentials to discover services, this was applied to the vCenter Server Object created from the Management Pack.

Now, this has changed. The vCenter Credentials used in the vCenter Adapter are responsible to discover vCenter Services, required that the relevant permissions are provided to the user i.e. System.Configuration.Administrator group.
