Is it possible with vRops to display real-time metrics like you would via vCentre performance tabs? Looking at creating real-time dashboards for our operations teams on business critical systems. I had alos looked at Grafana and TICK stack which works great but would be nicer in vRops as could bring in VM config elements etc. and no need for agent on guests other than vmware tools.
No you cant get real-time the min collection cycle is 5 mins. TBH 5 mins is normally enough. if a server spiked to 100% for 2 mins is that a problem, will you see performance problems, probably not.
If it stays at 100% from 5 mins then yea may have a problem.
