Hi, is it possible for operations manager to manage multiple data centres? I have two sites, a primary and a secondary and operations manager is currently installed at the primary site. However I can't seem to add the vcentre instance at the other site in order to monitor the environment. Is this possible? Would another operations manager instance be required? Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

You should be able to add the other site, you can register multiple vCenter servers. If the other site is comparitively large and/or network latency between sites is high, it is probably a good idea to add another vC Ops instance at the remote site.
Otherwise, very much do-able and supported.
Hello Kisukeurahara
yep you can use one instance of vcops for different vcenters. What version of vcops u are using? I have used to federate data from different vcenters present in different locations (really far). the only thing you will find is there will be minute small delay in the data collection. make sure you have a single license key which can hold good for both vcenters. just register the other vcenter in the vcops admin page.
Thanks
