MS SQL with Vrealize business

Hi ,

I have a enterprise customer who have 2 datacenters.

We are using enterprise vrealize suite licensing. I will be using vreaize business integration with vra on site 1. However , I will be using remote collector in site 2. What all parameters in need to consider before deploying this design. Two DC are 30 KM away and they are connected through dark fiber.

2.) Can i use MS sql servetr with vRB. I only see oracle as an option as DB. My customer donot have oracle licenses . They only have ms SQL enterprise licenses.

Provided you have all Analytic Nodes (Master/Replica/Data) in the same DC you'll be fine. Any remote DC's must make use of a Remote Collector.

As far as the vRB deployment goes, I do not think you can deploy the appliance with or connecting to an external MSSQL server and use that for the DB.
