Fountation license user... I'm looking to have only disk I/O be used in the Datastore Workload badge calculation. Is there a way to ignore Disk Space used?

You can't ignore diskspace for the Workload badge calculation.
Disk Space is not used in Workload...it is only used in Time Remaing.
We look at the Max Observed IO and use that as an indicator of disk workload.
