If I change vCops account to be more restrictive for licensing, will I lose current data?

I configured vCops to use an vCenter account with access to all objects.  I am now over the license count,  so I want to create a new account with access to a specific cluster and then have vCops use this account instead of the original account.

If I do this,  will the objects in the cluster that I am keeping vCops permissions for remain in vCops with their permissions?  Anything special I need to do?
