Hi gradinka,

Thanks for your response. Here are the description of my java application :

The PIM application (Physical Infrastructure Manager) is a Network Mgmt Software which

  • Discovers network elements like Switches, routers, Patch Panels, VOIP, Computers etc.
  • Manages discovered devices(Edit/Delete)
  • Performs Add/Edit/Delete operations on manually added or passive devices
  • Performs Connectivity between devices
  • Creates reports
  • Creates Workflow from HelpDesk User till Technician
  • System Administration
  • Internal and External Event Management

We are using extJS for front end and hibernate for back end. Java in the service layer and tomcat as server.

I want to know how i can integrate this application to vCOPS, so that we can monitor its health, Risk etc  .

Thanks in advance,

RizQad

OK so to do this you need to install & configure the Hyperic product and the corresponding addon for vc ops

Now Available: vCenter Operations Management 5.7.1, with Hyperic 5.7! | VMware Cloud Management - VM...

do you have those?

the application-level monitoring is done by Hyperic;

it can then feed data into vcops, so that you can see the whole stack
