I want to know, a vm belongs to which resource pool uisng vrops 6.6.
I was collecting report of vms which are oversized, i got the list but same time i want to know the specific vm belongs to which resourcepool.
If anyone aware of this please help me.
VM Folders would be a little easier to map, as VMs have properties called vSphere Folder and Parent Folder. Resources are a object that is build in to a VM's hierarchy, but isn't tracked as a property on VMs. My suggestion, for ease of use, is to leverage the VM Folders instead for your report.
I was aware of that., but here my problem is it is vcloud director based infra., so I need to map to respective vdc.
If i collect folder its not possible to map with vdc from vcloud
This is yet another vrops relationship that is there (environment -> All objects -> vcenter adapter -> Resource pool) but is no a property ( "Parent Resource" pool for example) that can be reported on in a list view that is used in the right size report
Lets hope tey add this just as the did the datastore relationship
