How can I configure the duration of statistics on vCops?

Hello community!

We need to keep all statistics data that vCops shows for more than six months. Can I teak the configuration? if yes, please advise how to do that!

Versions of ESXi hosts: v5.0 and v5.5

Here's version of our vCops.

VMware vCenter Operations Manager

Thanks.

There are several method to configure the retention:

VMWare KB: https://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=20082...

Or you can set in the vC Ops vSphere UI. The settings is under : Configuration -> General -> Data Retention

Or it can be done on Analytics VM using root credential via a SSH client , Go to /usr/lib/vmware-vcops/user/conf/analytics

Edit the file advanced.properties using VI or Nano ( or winscp to edit in text editor ) ,locate and modify the following entry on this file depending on your need

oldDataCleanerDateRange=180
