HTTP-Checks in VROPS 7.0 stopped working

Hi all

Since I've upgraded my to vROPS 7.0 all my http-checks stopped working. When the http-check object is stopped and started again, the collection status goes to 'blue', but never reaches 'green'.

No data is collected and after some time the collection status turns to 'grey'. Checked the agent.log but could not find any errors.

In my lab I deployed a fresh vROPS 7.0 appliance, installed the ep-agent on a Linux-system an created a new http-check. It's the same behavior. The http-checks does not start collecting data.

Does anyone here has seen this issue before?

Thanks.

Hi there

I've tried this and it's the same atricle as the support-team mentioned.

But, my problem is noch pushing data into vrops, like it's done with the api or before with the http-post adapter.

http-checks are part of ep ops adapter, which let you monitor websites for reachability and text-pattern on the page.

Problem is, that no data is collected since update to vROPS 7.0

The case at vmware ist still open.

I've done some tests in my lab, and found some interesting things.

If I deploy the ep-ops-solution PAK-file from vrops 6.7 to my vrops 7.0 appliance, the http-checks are working again.

Deploying the ep-ops-solution that comes with 7.0 again, http-checks stops working.

From my opinion, there is something in this ep-ops PAK that is included with 7.0.

Were you able to resolve this via VMware support / bugfix? I'm having the same issue myself but I cannot use your workaround as I'm already using epops for other things in production.

Thanks
