Difference in vSphere client and vCOPS data

Hi,

I found a strange thing while doing the capacity planning of the existing infra.

From the cluster view I could see that most of the hosts avg around 35% memory utilization. But when I take utilization from vCOPS, the memory utilization seems to be too low, below 10%.

Which data should I consider.

The vCenter UI will showed %-consumed at the host level by default. vR Ops has the ability to emphasize active, consumed, provisioned, etc.  The views you're looking at in vR Ops are likely looking at Active% or Demand %. Which metric is best for you depends on how you want to evaluate your capacity and util in the environment.
