Changing HA Buffer value for Capacity Planning ?

Hi all

we do operate our clusters at a maximum of 50% Load so HA is always possible without any impact.

I am currently in the process to get used to Vrops, my first goal was to get a capacity dashboard which shows clusters which are near that 50% limit of CPU or Memory Ressources.

So far i had not much luck to change the policys to my liking, that it will show exactly that.

I have found that there is a default of HA 10% Buffer value thats calculated, can i change that value somewhere in the policys to 50% ?

Or is there a better way to do this ?

edit the policy and it is in the analysis settings and you may need to unlock the capacity remaining section and change the buffer
