Most capacity calculations happen once a day I think its 1am by default.

There is no easy way to trigger it manually but the time it runs can be changed

Cheers

Hmmm..... I see different calculation times for each cluster (e.g. 9.37pm, 11.24pm, 2.17am, etc.)

Do you know where I can change that?

sorry are you running version 6 or 5? im guessing 6 after you said you have different times

for version 5 you need to make changes to the updatetime=1 field in the advanced.properties file in /usr/lib/vmware-vcops/user/conf/analytics/ with the number being the 24 hours clock 1 am being the default

In version 6 it should recalculate when ever a policy change is made, this could take time, it will then run every 24 hours which is why you see the different times.

To change when it is run you need to modify the file capacity.properties in /usr/lib/vmware-vcops/user/conf/analytics/

the field in that file are pretty straight forwared. make sure any changes get made on all nodes.
