Audit Trail for Groups

Hi Everyone,

Assuming that I have a group created with the membership criteria of "Object Name" and the vSphere Solutions Default policy applied on the group.

If any other user who has the same privilege as mine, logs in and changes the membership criteria to something else or changes the policy to something else. is there an easy way to find out what were the initial settings which were changed and who changed it?

I am aware of User Activity Audit but that does not tell me what was the initial setting and it changed to what. The only thing I can see is "Category : ADD_POLICY - Adding policy succeeded".

What am I missing?

Any help in this direction is much appreciated.

Hi,

Thats a difficult one.

If you have vRLI running, I would keep an eye on the vRLI logs and try making those chances in vROps to see if those are logged to begin with. And if thats the case you could search in vRLI based on the logging you recieved if you find a match.

Was I helpful? Give a kudo for appreciation!

Hi Kabir,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Unfortunately, we do not have vRLI in the infrastructure.
