Alert Triggering when disabled

I have created a new Default policy off the base settings, I have edited the policy and disabled every alert and symptom definition there is and i then make it the default policy.

For some reason i have no idea why the objects affected by this policy still trigger an alert. What am i doing wrong

I've run into the same thing myself in the past but didn't realize the policy was still active for some objects and that I missed some alerts. You might want to just take a second look to ensure you didn't overlook that.

I have checked 4 times. I have also copied a policy form a second instance that does not alert and that didn't work either. I will log a call with GSS
