so continuing my quest for AD, I know have two domains authenticating to vROps 7.0. They are in the same forest and there is a catalogue. One domain has users. They are part of groups in the other domain. We want to authenticate users, but have roles in vrops assigned to the groups in the other domain. However vrops only sees users in a group in the same domain. I am wondering if this is as designed or a bug? It works in vRA that way… Can someone shed any light?
I am authenticating both sources in advanced mode, pointing to a particular PDC with a specified service account user in the domain.
