vRA8 request timeout maximum

I'm trying to simulate the external approval system of vra7 in vra8.0. I start a vRO workflow at deployment.request.pre that is polling the external system.

I wonder when it will timeout? I increased the request timeout of the project to 14d but I'm not sure this will work. I started the deployment and clicking on the provisioning diagram I get the following message:

Is this a hard coded maximum I cannot exceed?

Looks like there is no such limit, I let the workflow run for 9 days an both vRA and vRO were waiting patiently without timing out.
