[vRA 7.4] Blueprint Create vm from .ovf

Has anyone got blueprints working with Ovf in 7.4?

Details are a little short on pre-requisites for getting this rolling, and it would be good to know how to get the URL requirement satisfied, for non internet connected deployments.

As always, any feedback is appreciated.

We keep OVAs in Artifactory, and provide the URL to them. You could do anything similar to expose a download link to your OVAs.

Does vRealize Lifecycle Manager satisfy this requirement?

Cant seem to find much on this at the moment.

We should stop trying to test out all these features as soon as they are released, and wait for the documentation to catch up.

Apache or IIS. Or whatever.

We use Artifactory which uses a non standard port. What I found was that the URL requirement is for a FQDN syntax, so something like http://artifactory:8081/ovf_template.ovf will not work, instead http://artifactory.domain.com:8081/ovf_template.ovf does work.

OK, got Jfrog Artifactory open installed, and hosting the .ova files.

Now for the stupid questions...

How do we customize the vm with IP address, Hostname and set the username and password once deployed?

Be gentle...
