Where to find the new vCAC REST API documentation

Jump to solution

Hi there,

I'm reading that a REST API has been added to vCAC 6.x. The available documentation points to a "vCloud Automation Center API Reference" document, which I was unable to locate so far.

Does anyone know where to find that document or have a URL which points to the embedded API reference (e.g. in vCO this would be hostname:8281/vco/api/docs ) if vCAC provides such an reference?

Thanks

Robert

Any idea when this will be available?  We would like to integrate vCAC but without this API documentation, we might have to consider other options in order to meet a deadline.

This document is not clear. Can someone post a link or direct me how to establish a connection with vCAC server using this API's and perform main operations? That would be really helpful.

Any idea where the "homepage" is for all services off the appliance?

Basically this page: vRealize Automation 6.2 Documentation Center  But on the appliance.

There are no Home navigation links from https://yourAppliance/SERVICENAME/api/docs/index.html that takes you back out to all services.  Does such a page exist?  I thought I was on it at some point or another, but I cannot remember the URL path.

I guess it is off the component-registry.  It has links to all the other services.
