Hi Guys

What to do configure lease time selection on Blueprint's Input or custom form in VRA8?

I just can find the function lease policy in VRA8 and there is not for my demand.

Hey ethanmao200123​,

If you are looking inside Cloud Assembly then there is your issue. Lease Policies same as Approval Policies have been moved to Service Broker. There is a section that is called policies where you can configure them.

Yes I knew there is a lease policy in Service Broker provide to config lease days and users can change leases time within leases days of policy definition.

But if I need the function that  users can select how many leases days when they are doing catalog request? Can't I do it in leases policy too?

It says that the archive and leases have been removed from the VMs and now they are handled by the Service Broker. However there is also a really cool post about how to configure it using Custom Forms: http://www.mobius.co.uk/customizing-request-forms-using-the-new-custom-forms/ (Read from step 5)

It looks like leases days function can't support BP Input , BP Custom form and approval policy in version VRA8.

I think it's not make sense and the function is very important. VMware should fix it.
