Hi, again.

Now im completely lost -.-

first i used the 7.2.0 Installer. and kept getting the error no matter what i change.

Today after endles failed attempts i tried the 7.0.1 Installer and i could´t believe it when it just say "All parameters are valid."

Did anyone used succesfully the 7.2 installer?

Did you install the IaaS Management agents on the IaaS servers and this was successfull? Can the vRA Appliances resolve the IaaS node names, check the DNS configuration.

Hi, without installing the agents you you can´t select them in the intaller. So yes the installation of the agent worked fine and without any errors.

Checked DNS config, looks fine.

100-vRA7-01:~ # host 100-vR7IaaS-01.meCloud.local

100-vR7IaaS-01.meCloud.local has address XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX

100-vR7IaaS-01.meCloud.local has IPv6 address XXXXXXX

100-vRA7-01:~ # host 100-vR7IaaS-02.meCloud.local

100-vR7IaaS-02.meCloud.local has address XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX

100-vR7IaaS-02.meCloud.local has IPv6 address XXXXXXX

100-vRA7-01:~ #

Have you tried reinstalling the agents on iaas nodes, i had similar issue with certificates name mismatch.

Hi,

i even installed agents on completely new Servers, no change.

The error occur bevor the Wizard is asking for any Cert. But i also have Certificates for the Servers.

Thanks for your ideas.

This issue appears related to the naming convention of numbers first.

Please drop the 100 off the hostname and try again.

in 7.2 /7.3 a validation was introduced for a valid FQDN in order for the install to proceed.

FQDN by RFC should not start with number, drop it and it will work.
