What did you do to cause this? What other details can you provide?

Everthing was working fine from vra appliance side but there was some issues in iaas server due to which iaas-service in vra appliance was not registered.

certificates were updated also. Everything on appliance was working properly Also the vami page but suddenly on refresh it says “Failed to initialize”. Now everything is working iaas vra but vami page is not.

I have open developer tools on browser and its showing file not found like locale/vamilocale_.properties.

there is a file vamilocale.properties but no file exists vamilocale_.properties (notice underscore is there)

This is minimal deployment and I have one other minimal deployment vra running properly and there also I cannot find this underscore file.

the VAMI certificate change procedure is described here

Replace the vRealize Automation Appliance Management Site Certificate

it is fairly straightforward, you can revert to the previous cert or whatever.

on the VA side, the logs on the web-server responsible for VAMI are located here

/opt/vmware/var/log/lighttpd

you can look and see if it complains abt anything
