I'm looking for the equivalent to this event broker property on a virtual machine in VRA 8.x:
"VirtualMachine.Disk1.ExternalID": "6000C29a-f0fe-64c2-211d-4d7f0ffebbb3"
This property basically equates to the serial number of the disk. It makes it very easy to assign custom settings against each disk such as drive letter, partition name, etc.
So far with version 8 I was not able to find the same property in any of the extensibility schema for either the vm or disk resource objects.
Does anyone know if the 'ExternalID' property still exists?
