VRA 8 / Nagios : Adding a newly deployed VM for Ngios Monitoring

Hi Folks,

As a post deployment task how would one add the deployed VM to a Nagios Host group and setup the Notification period.

Is their a plugin available for this ? Does this have to be done through a vRO workflow

Any pointers regarding this would be much appreciated.

No out of box support. Nagios XI has a REST API so you can use vRO REST plugin to automate that.

Nagios core uses configuration files - you can create those with vRO SSH plugin.
