VMRC Problems after changing vRA Host Settings

Hi, after changing the vRA Host Settings to another LB name, everything worked correctly but the VMRC. I couldn't find any log error that describe the error, but the Browser say "Verify that the machine is powered on. If the server has a self-signed certificate, you might need to accept the certificate, then close and retry the connection" but the VM is poweredOn and the certificate is trusted.

The version of vRA is 6.2.1 fresh install, not migrated.

I have tried:

  • Restart all the servers
  • This procedure: vRealize Automation 6.2 Documentation Center
  • I change the vRA LB address in the file "VMware\vCAC\Server\Model Manager Web\Web.config" in the following line: <repository server="{SQL Server}" database="vRA" store="{LB FQDN}" />

Thank you!!

Pablo.-

We are using F5, what about port 8444? is it necessary to enable it on the load balancer? I found no documentation around.

Hi, the problem is solved, we needed to load balance port 8444.

But the non standard port makes publishing the solution to internet very difficult, is there any way to change this port to a Standard one? even if it means to use another public IP.

thank you!!
