Other than remote desktop and rdesktop and vSphere Web Client are there any console access solutions that either vRA or vCD provides that can allow a user to access their VM console so they can do things like boot their VM and enter function keys to get into the BIOS or reset their RHEL root password?
Sure, 6.2 provides VMRC as part of the integrated functionality. It functions the same as it does in the vSphere Web client. You can use it with vCD as well. There is a standalone functionality, or you can use it through the browser, it just requires a plugin installation. In vRA the functionality falls under two places to enable that functionality: Blueprints and Entitlements. You can specify it in the blueprint, and that will carry over to entitlements if it's not explicitly set in entitlements.
