So I've got my 2 vCAC appliance setup behind a load balancer, when I go to the URL https://test.com:5480/i/. It just times out and will not load. I can browse to the individual appliance's page and it will connect. So right now, it's just the load balanced name. Which I need to get, to do my IaaS installs.
Ok so I realized the documentation says setup the vCAC load balancer to forward port 5480, once I did that I could get my installer. However now my services are failing b/c they're trying to hit https URLs and are failing since i'm no longer forwarding 443. I'm a bit confused now. Should I stick with 443?
You can't load balance both?
Just wanted to update this. I got ahead of myself and saw that you need to port forward 5480 initially to download the package, then you can remove it afterwards! Only 443 is needed after.
What you should do and what I know works since I did it myself is you should actually set up two separate load balancing rules for those appliances. You set one up for regular http/https and then another configuration just for port 5480.
