Issue Statement:
Our infrastructure is set up such a way that we select the DataStores based on the third-party tool (which tells us cluster and datastore) in which to place the request.
We are able to place the VM in such cluster by modifying hostselectionID & placementIDs on Event Subscriptions however we are not able to find any documentation or examples to modify the DataStore of BootDisk as well as any additional disk associated with deployment post user has requested the blueprint.
What we have done so far:
We have identified few Event Topics as below and tried modifying the DataStore with no luck
1. Disk Allocation:
In this event we can modify the customProperties with key 'dataStore' with desired Data Store however VRA ignores this and puts the machine in default Storage Profile
2. Disk Attach:
We are not sure when this event is triggered and want to know if we can change the Data Store of VM BootDisk and additional disk on this event
Basically, we want to know at which lifecycle event it is possible to change the DataStore of VM's BootDisk & any additional disks associated with that VM
