Provisioning takes time

Hi,

When I clone a VM in vCenter it takes less than four minutes to complete.

whereas the same template is taking 18 minutes in vRA 8.2.

Any idea to fix this or identify the reason for it.

Can you please see that the customization specification is correct?

If that is not working correctly it might take some time, that doesn't show when doing the same clone task in vSphere

I've seen that especially on Ubuntu OS's

The issue is resolved after I make the change in VM name under Projects, Provisioning.

The custom hostname was too long which was causing the reconfigure of the server after provisioning.

Specify the naming template to be used for machines, networks, security groups and disks provisioned in this project.
