Problem with services in vCAC

Hello!

vRA 6.2.

Service "VMware vCloud Automation Center Service" doesn't start automatically after rebooting the Windows Server though Startup Type is "Automatic".

Also iaas-service is blank instead of registered/failed. I've already faced with this problem and solved it with the updating of certificates on appliances and Windows machine, but this way takes enough time.

Why "VMware vCloud Automation Center Service" doesn't start automatically and how can I start iaas-service without manipulations with certificates?

Thanks a lot!

Can you go to the logs folder for the server and check the issue?

You will find it at C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\vCAC\Server\Logs on IaaS server.

From the log it looks like its not able to connect to the Repository.

Open C:\Program Files (x86)\VMware\vCAC\Server\ManagerService.exe.config file and locate the below key value.

<add key="repositoryAddress" value="https://vcactest:443/repository/" />

And check whether you are able to access the repository URL as shown below.?

https://vcactest:443/repository/data/ManagementModelEntities.svc

If the above url is not working then can you check your IIS is running ?

Sorry for my silence.

I've checked the URL you've mentioned and results are in the picture.

IIS is running.
