I am getting "System exception" Error while calling Resource Action on existing deployment.

Hi all,

I would like to add a new Action to my deployments. For example "Add VM to Backup bla bla"....

I created a workflow on vRO.

Both vRA and vRO versions are 7.5

Then I created Resource Action on vRA and published it.

Then I added this actions on Entitlements.

When i click to Test Workflow Action, I am getting System Exception error; when i check to "Infrastructure > Monitoring > Logs" I can't see anything about error..

What backup product are you trying to integrate with? What does your workflow contain? You're looking in the wrong place for logs. First check Administration -> Logs. If the vRO workflow isn't even getting invoked, then you've set up the XaaS incorrectly and so we'd need to see that.

Backup is a just example. I need to add any vRO workflow as an action. Above you can see the workflow that I want to add as action.

I have read a lot of article about Resource Action and done my configurations according to this articles. My vRO endpoint configuration and External vRO configuration is correct. Already i designed another XaaS blueprint and it is working. Also, I created dynamic combobox which getting some values from vRO. I think that vRO and vRA configuration is working correctly.

I checked Administrator > Log and i noticed these errors ;

catalina.out will always be your best place to check if a form doesn't load. It will point you in the direction of the issue.

Hi All,

In my case I saw the vCenter endpoints already configured in vRO 7.6 but the exception still occured (weird).

The solution was to reconfigure the vCenter endpoints from vRO.
