I spent some time looking for a way to do this in the past and the method I ended up using was to not use the blueprint but rather XaaS.  Created a form with everything I needed and had the form make a call to the catalog item and did the GB to MB conversion during the process

Echoing what sbeaver said, I'm not sure that there is a way to do this using IaaS blueprints, you may need to use XaaS.

If you wanted to continue using IaaS blueprints and you want to ensure that your VMs have the correct amount of memory in GB so that they end up nice and rounded (1024MB, 2048MB, 4096MB etc), you could perform some calculations in orchestrator and then update the correct property. That said, I can confirm this works with 6.x, I'm unsure if it will work with 7.x due to some of the changes, but I imagine it would.
