How to bind to a property of a property group

Hi,

I have a VM with a software component inside it. That software component has properties that need to bind to a custom property of the VM it's in. This works fine if I bind to a regular custom property of the VM. However, I cannot bind to a custom property that is part of a property group that was added to that same VM. Am I missing something here?

Is the property group configured on the blueprint element or the machine element?

The property group is configured on the machine element, and I want to use those properties for the software element within the machine.

I think I dealt with this before. The property groups don't show (nor do their constituent properties) in the drop-down list, but I believe it will bind if you specify the custom property manually where: <machine>~<custom_prop>. Try it out and see if it works for you.
