HTTP STATUS 502 Error under vCAC 6.1 -> Infrastructure Tab

Hi,

This is a fresh installation of vCAC 6.1. Thestatus of the iaas-service in the vCAC Cafe Services is blank. I have redeployed the IaaS Machine but still no luck. When I login to the vCAC under the Infrastructure Tab I get the following error:

HTTP Status 502 -

message

description This server received an invalid response from a server it consulted when acting as a proxy or gateway.

I am not sure where I am going wrong. Hope anybody can help me out

Happened to me twice.

It went away when i re-installed the IaaS server. Be sure to reboot vCAC and IA appliance while you re install.

Can you check you able to ping the IAAS machine from the vCAC VA machine.  And check https://<iaas hostname>/WAPI/api/status to see whats the status.

Hi,

Sounds like the va appliance hasn't started correctly. Also if you did a simple install of vRA/vCAC then sometime the services take a while to start up and show. Restart the server and wait ten minutes and all the services should show and the infra tab so work from there.
